The Great Leucan Faceoff
in collaboration with the Montreal Canadiens
Join the Montreal Canadiens and Leucan to turn your passion for hockey into a meaningful gesture of solidarity for children with cancer and their families.
About the initiative
Leucan, in collaboration with the Montreal Canadiens, is proud to launch The Great Leucan Faceoff, a unique initiative inviting hockey teams across Quebec—community, school, elite, or recreational—to unite for a common goal: bringing hope to children with cancer.
By organizing a fundraising activity or event in support of Leucan between November 8, 2025, and March 15, 2026, participating teams will directly help families affected by pediatric cancer—while getting a chance to win exclusive prizes.

Why participate?
Every dollar raised helps Leucan pursue its mission:
To support the recovery and well-being of children with cancer and their families through personalized assistance, emotional and financial support, and funding for clinical research—at every stage of the illness and its effects.
Who can participate?
All hockey teams in Quebec are invited to join The Great Leucan Faceoff, including:
- Community teams (youth or adult)
- School teams (elementary, high school, college, or university)
- Elite or competitive teams
- Recreational or friendly teams
Note: There are no age or skill restrictions. What matters most is sharing your love of hockey while supporting children with cancer.

- Gather your hockey teammates and decide how your team will raise funds to support children with cancer and their families.
- Register your team on the official platform:
- Organize your fundraising activity between November 8, 2025, and March 15, 2026.

“At the hospital, my dad decorated my room to make it feel like home. When you walked in, you could tell I loved hockey! Now, I’m slowly getting back to practice. My dream is to play a full season with a team again.”
